Baritone Louis Quilico Dies (con't) Quilico's last two CDs, recorded with his wife Christina Petrowska Quilico, showed a voice that was still strong and fluid, a testament to his personally devised vocal techniques. In November 1999, Quilico was presented
with the Governor General's Performing Arts Award at
a gala ceremony in Ottawa. He was a Companion of the Order
of Canada and the recipient of the first "Distinguished
Visitor Award" by The University of Toronto. ### |
